HOLY MOLY —We can’t keep up with the demand!
Saturday, Feb 4th in Fenton (south St. Louis) 125 packed a conference center and this past Saturday, Feb 11th, over 300 activists filled Maplewood Richmond Heights high school theatre.
Don’t forget the 200 in KC Jan. 28th!
The enthusiasm of activists of all shapes, sizes and ages from 7 Missouri Congressional districts (we only have 8) are giving up their weekends to get “demystified” about the MO State Legislature & hear from progressive organizations what is happening right now in the Capital (nothing good).
You energized the presenters: Mary Kogut, E.D Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region/Southwest Missouri, ACLU of Missouri, PROMO (MO statewide equality group), Advancement Project’s own Denise Lieberman, Missouri Moms Demand Action, our star OB/GYN state testifier, Dr. Colleen McNicholas —including Asst. Minority Leader Gina Mitten, State Rep. Doug Beck and State. Rep. Stacey Newman (ProgressWomen director).
And you’re begging for more…
So we’re going to ratchet up the #GOV101 machine, give up sleep, perhaps quit our day jobs (just kidding).
