As we filed Democrat bills and waited for the Senate bills to be introduced, the crazy has begun.
Costing you $20,000 a day (no joke), Gov. Greitens has unleashed a thunderous roar on reproductive rights in Missouri. This 2nd special session is expected to last until Tuesday, June 20th – the last full day of debate.
His official call includes: Repealing the St. Louis City reproductive anti-discrimination ordinance, giving fake pregnancy centers MORE protections along with the $10,000,000 we gave them in tax credits, state & federal funds and passing MORE unconstitutional regulations for abortion providers and clinics (remember that landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling last summer?).
SO THIS HAPPENED TODAY….
Before we even had a hearing in either the House or Senate. Reminder, Rep. Mike Moon (R-Ashland) sits on my House Children & Families Committee which has their 1st hearing on abortion bills on Wednesday, January 14th at 10am in Hearing Room 3 in the Capital. He is the same legislator who wants to make fetal cells “people” and referred to sperm last session as “tadpoles”.
